JAXA curation for Bennu samples returned by the NASA's OSIRIS‐REx mission
Abstract NASA's OSIRIS‐REx mission successfully collected and returned ~121.6 g of bulk samples from the B‐type, near‐Earth asteroid (101955) Bennu to Earth in September 2023. Upon returning to Earth, the samples were transported to the NASA Johnson Space Center where most of the samples have been stored and processed.

A Review of Hydrophobicity Measurement and Classification Methods for High‐Voltage Insulators
Hydrophobicity is a critical property influencing the performance and reliability of high‐voltage insulators, particularly nonceramic types, by mitigating surface contamination and reducing the risk of flashover. This paper presents a comprehensive review of hydrophobicity assessment techniques, spanning traditional laboratory‐based techniques ...

Opportunities to observe solar eclipses by Phobos with the Mars Science Laboratory
We have generated predictions for observing Phobos transits during the period 2012–2014 using the Mars Science Laboratory. We describe how the detections of Phobos eclipses can be used as an alternative procedure to determine the coordinates of the rover.

Plasma Acceleration by Magnetic Tension Forces in the Martian Magnetotail: MAVEN Observations
Abstract The Martian magnetotail is a dynamic region where several processes contribute to plasma acceleration. Here, we analyze ∼5 ${\sim} 5$ years of Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) data to evaluate the role of magnetic tension forces in driving plasma acceleration within current sheets in the tail. Based on magnetic field measurements,

Simulated planetary gas detection using the A.C.M.E. chamber and a novel hollow‐core fiber Raman sensor. Controlled atmospheric mixtures were used to evaluate the sensor’s performance, demonstrating its capability to detect gases such as CO₂, O₂, and N₂. The results support the applicability of the HCF‐based Raman sensor in future planetary exploration

Exploring the Validation Results of the Advanced Solar Particle Events Casting System (ASPECS)
Abstract Solar Energetic Particle (SEP) events can adversely affect space and ground‐based systems. Space weather effects associated with SEP events can impact communication and navigation systems, spacecraft electronics and operations, space power systems, crewed space missions, and commercial aircraft operations.
