Bayesian Meta‐Learning for Few‐Shot Reaction Outcome Prediction of Asymmetric Hydrogenation of Olefins

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A Bayesian meta‐learning framework is proposed for reaction outcome prediction in low‐data settings. It utilizes a literature‐mined dataset on asymmetric hydrogenation of olefins to build a pre‐trained model. This meta‐model is shown to return better predictions as compared to single‐tasks methods, such as random forest and graph neural networks, given

Hyperpolarization Modulation of the T‐Type hCav3.2 Channel by Human Synenkephalin [1–53], a Shrew Neurotoxin Analogue without Paralytic Effects

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Human synenkephalin [1–53] (hSYN), an analogue peptide of shrew saliva neurotoxins, was synthesized and its structural characteristics studied. Synthetic hSYN potently activated the T‐type voltage‐gated Ca channel hCav3.2 but did not paralyze mealworms. These findings offer new insight into neurological disorder treatment and evolutionary mechanisms of

Electrodeposited Iron‐Incorporated Cobalt Phosphide for Improved Supercapacitor Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, EarlyView.
The electrodeposition method has been used to synthesize Fe–CoP deposited on nickel foam, resulting in excellent cycling stability and capacitance retention compared to CoP and FeP. Furthermore, a detailed charge storage mechanism, emphasizing the enhanced electrochemical performance has been discussed. Supercapacitors have gained significant attention

Nitrate Reduction for Deaminative Suzuki–Miyaura Coupling of Anilines

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We present a one‐step deaminative Suzuki–Miyaura‐type coupling of anilines via fleeting diazonium intermediate with nitrate and bisulfite as the reagents. This represents the first application of the nitrate reduction strategy in transition metal catalysis of diazonium chemistry.
