The Effects of Enzyme Pretreatment Extraction on Lipid Recovery With Normal Phase HPLC
ABSTRACT With the increasing interest in the commercialization of microalgal fermentation‐based products, sustainable and efficient oil extraction methods have been developed for manufacturing and analytical testing. Due to the variability and resilience of micro‐algae cell walls, traditional lipid extraction methods such as Folch and Bligh and Dyer ...

ABSTRACT This study explored fasting‐induced physiological remodeling effects on meat quality in aged laying hens. Fasting for 15 days (F15) significantly reduced abdominal fat, intermuscular fat width, subcutaneous fat thickness, and liver index versus pre‐fasting (F0) (p < 0.05), which recovered post‐refeeding.

Ursolic Acid Alleviates Orchitis via Modulating Ferroptosis in Peritubular Myoid Cells of Testis
Ursolic acid modulates key ferroptosis‐related pathways in the peritubular myoid cells of the testis in forest musk deer. ABSTRACT Chronic stress adversely affects reproductive health, increasing susceptibility to pathologies such as orchitis. Additionally, the maintenance of iron homeostasis is essential for preserving the function of the testicles ...

Epidermal growth factor-induced hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine by phospholipase D and phospholipase C in human dermal fibroblasts [PDF]
The enzymatic pathways for formation of 1,2-diradylglyceride in response to epidermal growth factor in human dermal fibroblasts have been investigated. 1,2-Diradylglyceride mass was elevated 2-fold within one minute of addition of EGF.

Objective The unknown pathophysiology and the lack of specific features for systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis and adult‐onset Still disease (collectively known as Still disease; SD) delay diagnosis and appropriate treatment. The goal of this study was to identify features and mechanisms that distinguish SD from other systemic autoinflammatory ...

Activation of native TRPC3 cation channels by phospholipase D.
In the mammalian nervous system, stimulation of G-protein-coupled type I glutamate receptors triggers various forms of neuronal plasticity, including cerebellar long-term depression and hippocampal long-term potentiation. Activation of these receptors in
