The therapeutic efficacy of lipid nanoparticle(LNP)‐based drugs depends on endosomal escape. However, few methods are available for quantifying the efficiency of endosomal escape in vivo. Herein, a novel method for quantifying the endosomal escape efficiency index using magnetic resonance imaging is introduced.

Isolation and Characterization of a Cellular Protein-Lipid Complex from Ascites Fluid Caused by Various Neoplasms [PDF]
High concentrations of lipids in ascites fluid caused by peritoneal carcinomatosis have been described recently. Since their nature has not yet been clarified, we isolated ascitic lipids from 25 patients with various neoplasms for further ...

Phospholipids at the Interface: Current Trends and Challenges
Phospholipids are one of the major structural elements of biological membranes. Due to their amphiphilic character, they can adopt various molecular assemblies when dispersed in water, such as bilayer vesicles or micelles, which give them unique ...

The interaction of penicillins with phospholipids
AbstractThe interaction of the antibiotics, penicillin G and ampicillin, with sonicated sols of phosphatidylcholine, lysophosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylserine has been examined by Sephadex gel nitration and dynamic dialysis. Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy provided evidence of a predominantly

Phospholipids and Alzheimer’s Disease: Alterations, Mechanisms and Potential Biomarkers
Brain is one of the richest organs in lipid content. Phospholipids (glycerophospholipids and sphingolipids) are important building blocks of cell membranes, which provide an optimal environment for protein interactions, trafficking and function.

Harnessing Photo‐Energy Conversion in Nanomaterials for Precision Theranostics
Harnessing photo‐energy conversion in nanomaterials enables precision theranostics through light‐driven mechanisms such as photoluminescence, photothermal, photoelectric, photoacoustic, photo‐triggered surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS), and photodynamic processes. This review explores six fundamental principles of photo‐energy conversion, recent
