Using Double Function Solubility Diagram to Study the Effect of Phosphorus Fertilizer on the Availability of Phosphorus in Different Soil Orders.

open access: yesZanco Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences, 2020
A pot experiment was carried out during autumn growing season of 2016-2017 at the Gerdarasha field of College of Agriculture Engineering Sciences, to study the effect of three dominant soil orders (Mollisols (M), Vertisols (V) and Aridisols (A)), five ...

Phosphorus sorption, accumulation and leaching [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Arable land is a major diffuse source of P loads to surface waters. The main processes for P losses from agricultural fields are erosion, surface runoff and subsurface leaching.

Electrospun Wood‐Derived Biopolymers as Electrodes in Electrochemical Energy Storage Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Electrospinning transforms wood‐derived cellulose and lignin into architecturally defined, binder‐free carbon electrodes with tuneable porosity and functionality. This review shows how fibre design enables decoupled charge and mass transport, enhancing performance across battery systems, while identifying key challenges in spinnability, scalability ...

A Comprehensive Review on Organic Waste Compost as an Effective Phosphorus Source for Sustainable Agriculture

open access: yesInternational Journal of Recycling of Organic Waste in Agriculture
Purpose: The transformation of Organic Waste through composting has become a source of organic matter that, through microbial action, generates molecules conducive to phosphate solubilization and produces fractions of Po and Pi readily available for ...

Functionalizing Micro‐to‐Mesoscopic Electrode Architectures for Regulating Electron Transfer Behaviors in Electrocatalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A systematic review is conducted to assess the influence of electrode architecture across micro‐ to mesoscopic length scales on electron‐transfer pathways in electrocatalysis. We discuss the structure‐activity relationships in electrocatalytic applications, including resource recovery and environmental remediation, and provide cost‐effective, efficient

Noise‐Limited Bit Precision in Ferroelectric Synaptic Transistors for High‐Resolution Neuromorphic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐frequency noise spectroscopy defines the resolvable conductance states of synaptic FeFETs by coupling read‐current fluctuation with usable dynamic range. The resulting noise‐limited bit precision establishes a universal, device‐agnostic reliability metric beyond the memory window, enabling quantitative benchmarking and rational design of high ...

Effect of chemical amendments to dairy soiled water and time between application and rainfall on phosphorus and sediment losses in runoff [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
peer-reviewedDairy soiled water (DSW) is a dilute, low nutrient effluent produced on Irish dairy farms through the regular washing down of milking parlours and holding areas.

Influence of phosphorus fertilization on mung bean growth, yield, and soil physico-chemical attributes in inceptisols

open access: yesEnvironment Conservation Journal
Phosphorus (P) fractions play a critical role in the soil P cycle, especially in P-deficient soils, by determining the availability of phosphorus to plants and influencing the balance between P inputs, transformations, and losses.

Formas de fósforo em solos sob influência da calagem e adubação orgânica Phosphorus forms in soils under influence of liming and organic fertilization

Programming Nanoscale Reaction Environments via Peptide Localization for Gold Nanoparticle Growth in Liposomal Nanoreactors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The liposome nanoreactor method enables uniform metal nanoparticle synthesis using the interior as a reaction environment. We demonstrate that peptide sequences and lipid compositions act as a functional molecular switch to control reaction environments in liposome nanoreactors.
