Tracing phosphorus cycle in global watershed using phosphate oxygen isotopes
Science of The Total Environment, 2022The Phosphorus (P) cycle is a crucial biochemical process in the earth system. However, an extensive increase of P input into watersheds destroyed the ecosystem. To explore the effects of internal P loading and external P input in global watersheds, we reviewed the research progress and synthesized the isotope data of experimental results from ...

Isotopic Exchange Reactions between Phosphorus Trichloride and Phosphorus Pentachloride1
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 1957A measurable exchange of isotoplcally labeled phosphorus and chlorine has been observed between phosphorus trichloride and phosphorus pentachloride in carbon tetrachloride solution. The exchange rates are the same within experimental error and the reaction is first order in phosphorus pentachloride and zero order in phosphorus trichloride.

Organic Phosphorus Mineralization Studies Using Isotopic Dilution Techniques
Soil Science Society of America Journal, 2001Soil organic P (P o ) mineralization is an important process in P cycling. No accurate method for its quantification is available because any mineralized inorganic P (P i ) may be rapidly sorbed onto the soil solid phase where it cannot be separated ...
