A Reproducible MRI‐Based Pipeline for Longitudinal Tracking of Laser‐Assisted Bioprinted Cells in Three‐Dimensional Constructs

open access: yesNMR in Biomedicine, Volume 39, Issue 10, October 2026.
Laser‐assisted bioprinting was used to deposit iron oxide‐labelled endothelial cells in predefined patterns onto SCAP‐seeded gelatin biopapers to assemble multilayer constructs of increasing thickness. T2*‐weighted MRI monitored constructs for up to 35 days.

Surface‐Enhanced Raman Scattering‐Based Multimodal Medical Imaging in Cancer Diagnosis and Therapy Monitoring

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) has emerged as a highly sensitive and specific technique for tumor imaging, owing to its narrow spectral features, resistance to photobleaching, and capability for multiplexed detection. However, its clinical translation remains limited by poor tissue penetration and the absence of intrinsic anatomical ...

Simulation-based planning of optimal conditions for industrial computed tomography

open access: yes, 2022
8 S.We present a method to optimise conditions for industrial computed tomography (CT). This optimisation is based on a deterministic simulation. Our algorithm finds task-specific CT equipment settings to achieve optimal exposure parameters by means of ...

Multiwavelength Implantable Oximeter for Wireless Monitoring of Tissue Oxygenation in the Presence of Blood Volume Changes

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 35, 18 September 2026.
This study presents an implantable, wireless, battery‐free oximeter that can continuously monitor physiologically consistent regional tissue oxygenation under dynamic changes of blood volume. This is achieved through multiwavelength photoplethysmography and validated both via Monte Carlo simulations and in vivo rat studies. Different stress events were

Deep Learning Network‐Tailored Microenvironment Matching of 4D Bioprinting Bioactive Scaffolds for Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 53, 24 September 2026.
A DLN dataset was built to analyze MABS composition versus in vitro/in vivo osteogenesis and angiogenesis. An MLP neural network, taking BG morphological parameters as input, extracts bioactive features from these datasets. A rabbit tibial defect model then validates 4D‐printed MABS for adaptability and bone regeneration in critical defects.

Retrospective respiration-gated whole-body photoacoustic computed tomography of mice [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Photoacoustic tomography (PAT) is an emerging technique that has a great potential for preclinical whole-body imaging. To date, most whole-body PAT systems require multiple laser shots to generate one cross-sectional image, yielding a frame rate of

Arterial Blood‐Mediated Deep‐Tissue Photoacoustic Oximetry

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 53, 24 September 2026.
The arterial prior method (APM+) for photoacoustic oximetry is introduced, which leverages the high arterial blood oxygenation to calibrate the fluence at the artery and estimate the oxygenation of the surrounding tissue, thus circumventing the spectral coloring problem. APM+’s accuracy and consistency are shown in a series of phantom and in vivo human

Dual‐Acceptor Engineered Multimodal Phototheranostic NIR‐II AIEgens for Orthotopic Breast Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 9, September 2026.
A robust NIR‐II AIE small molecule with multimodal phototheranostic features was rationally constructed through a dual‐acceptor engineering strategy, which enables exceptional NIR‐II fluorescence–photoacoustic–photothermal trimodal imaging and synergistic photodynamic–photothermal therapy in a mouse orthotopic breast cancer model under 808 nm laser ...
