Observed and Modeled Changes in Boundary‐Layer and Surface‐Level Actinic Flux Due To Wildfire Smoke Plumes in the California Central Valley in Summer 2018

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Atmospheres, Volume 131, Issue 8, 28 April 2026.
Abstract Wildfire smoke is increasingly degrading U.S. air quality via the emission and transport of pollutants. Smoke's direct role as a pollutant is well‐documented; however, smoke also affects pollutant concentration indirectly by changing the shortwave actinic flux necessary for photochemical reactions.

Ferritin‐Doped Nanoparticles Triggered Tumor‐Specific Darkening for Enhanced Photothermal Tumor Ablation and Immune Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 15, Issue 14, 10 April 2026.
Ferritin‐doped hybrid nanoparticles triggered accurate tumor‐specific hemorrhage for enhanced in situ photothermal therapy and evoked anti‐tumor immunity. Notably, HFn/GA‐Fe specifically induced tumor hemorrhage 12 h after intravenous injection, resulting in visible color darkening. Through photoacoustic imaging, tumor vessels could be clearly observed
