DNAzyme‐Based Nanostructures for Dynamic Cell Regulation and Sensing

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2026.
This review explores DNAzyme‐based nanostructures for dynamic cell regulation and sensing. By merging catalytic DNA with nanomaterials, they enable precise metal‐ion detection, programmable cell–cell interactions, and high‐resolution bioimaging. These advances open new routes to smart theranostic platforms and clinical translation in precision medicine.

Ultralight Conductive MXene Aerogels: From Material Design to Energy, Environment, and Electronic Applications

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 4, April 2026.
MXene aerogels combine the intrinsic conductivity and surface chemistry of MXenes with ultralight, highly porous 3D architectures, enabling efficient charge/heat transport and multifunctional performance. By tailoring pore structure, orientation, surface functional groups, and hybrid compositions (with polymers, carbons, metals, and MOFs), MXene ...

Research advances in the applications of mitochondria‐targeted cyanine dyes in imaging

open access: yesVIEW, Volume 7, Issue 2, April 2026.
Near‐infrared (NIR) fluorescence imaging, a novel non‐invasive diagnostic tool, plays a crucial role in the imaging and monitoring of solid tumors. At its core are NIR fluorescent dyes, which are widely utilized due to their ability to minimize tissue autofluorescence interference, thereby significantly enhancing the signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) and ...

Racial and Skin Tone Differences in Scar Maturation: A Prospective Analysis of Aesthetic and Physiological Outcomes Using the Modified POSAS Scale

open access: yesInternational Wound Journal, Volume 23, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Scar outcomes are known to vary by skin tone and race, yet few studies have systematically evaluated these differences using validated tools. To evaluate differences in scar maturation across Fitzpatrick skin types and racial groups from 3 to 12 months postoperatively using the modified Patient and Observer Scar Assessment Scale (POSAS) scale.
