Iron‐Photocatalyzed C(sp3)–H Phosphonylation of Alkanes
Alkyl phosphonates are valuable motifs that can be prepared by phosphonylations of various common functional groups. However, direct phosphonylations of C(sp3)–H bonds are limited to activated positions. Herein, we report an iron‐photocatalyzed phosphonylation of unactivated C(sp3)–H bonds using a novel phosphite radical trap, which is equipped with an

Light‐transparent, cage‐type porous organic salts (POSs) function as nanoreactors that heterogenize molecularly defined photocatalysts through size exclusion. Photocatalysts are encapsulated intact during crystallization, providing confined yet accessible reaction fields under visible light without catalyst modification.

Gold(III) Semiquinone Complexes: Synthesis, Structure, and Application in Photocatalysis
Au(III) catecholate complexes engage into electron donor acceptor (EDA) interactions with aryldiazonium salts, enabling single‐electron transfer under green light irradiation. Ligand‐centered one‐electron oxidation to stable semi‐quinone complexes provides a new platform for standalone Au(III) photoredox catalysis, as substantiated by the C–H arylation

Color‐pure all‐organic emitters, i.e., with narrow spectral characteristics, are intensively studied for high‐definition organic LEDs and multi‐color bioimaging. In order to guide targeted materials design, this educative review discusses spectral characteristics, proper definitions and units, and the physical basis of spectral broadening, to distill ...
