Photocatalytically Active Ladder Polymers [PDF]
Conjugated ladder polymers (cLaPs) are introduced as organic semiconductors for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution from water under sacrificial conditions. Starting from a linear conjugated polymer (cLiP1), two ladder polymers are synthesized via post-polymerization annulation and oxidation techniques to generate rigidified, planarized materials bearing

Heterogeneous Photocatalytic Click Chemistry [PDF]
Copper-doped semiconductors are designed to photoassist the alkyne-azide cycloaddition catalysis by Cu(I). Upon irradiation, injection of electrons from the semiconductor into copper oxide nanostructures produces the catalytic Cu(I) species. The new catalysts are air- and moisture-tolerant and can be readily recovered after use and reused several times.

Photocatalytic and combined anaerobic–photocatalytic treatment of textile dyes [PDF]
A photocatalytic process based on immobilized titanium dioxide was used to treat crude solutions of azo, anthraquinone and phthalocyanine textile dyes. In addition, the process was applied to the treat autoxidized chemically reduced azo dyes, i.e. representatives of recalcitrant dye residues after biological sequential anaerobic-aerobic treatment ...
