Porous Silicon Bragg Reflector/Carbon Dot Hybrids: Synthesis, Nanostructure, and Optical Properties
Carbon dots (C-dots) exhibit unique fluorescence properties, mostly depending upon their physical environments. Here we investigate the optical properties and nanostructure of Carbon dots (C-dots) which are synthesized in situ within different porous ...

In the title hydrated complex, [Co(C15H10ClN3)2]Cl2·4H2O, the complete dication is generated by \overline{4} symmetry. The CoN6 moiety shows distortion from regular octahedral geometry with the trans bond angles of two N—Co—N units being 160.62 (9)°.

Dynamics of four-photon photoluminescence in gold nanoantennas [PDF]
Two-pulse correlation is employed to investigate the temporal dynamics of both two-photon photoluminescence (2PPL) and four-photon photoluminescence (4PPL) in resonant and nonresonant nanoantennas excited at a wavelength of 800 nm. Our data are consistent with the same two-step model being the cause of both 4PPL and 2PPL, implying that the first ...

Actively Tuned and Spatially Trapped Polaritons
We report active tuning of the polariton resonance of quantum well excitons in a semiconductor microcavity using applied stress. Starting with the quantum well exciton energy higher than the cavity photon mode, we use stress to reduce the exciton energy ...

Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

Phosphorescent OLEDs suffer from efficiency roll‐off due to triplet‐polaron quenching (TPQ). This study demonstrates for a large set of host‐guest combinations a spectroelectrochemical method to measure the absorption of charged molecules, enabling determining TPQ Förster radii (2.5–4 nm) from the spectral overlap.

Synthesis and Characterization of Nano-Particles of Niobium Pentoxide with Orthorhombic Symmetry
In this work, a set of nanoparticles of Nb2O5 nanoparticles were grown by both the Pechini and the sol-gel methods. The amorphous materials were calcined at 650 #xB0;C or at 750 °C.

Sono‐Piezo‐Photosynthesis of Ethylene and Acetylene from Bioethanol under Ambient Conditions
A novel sono‐piezo‐photocatalytic strategy enables the conversion of bioethanol to ethylene (C2H4) and acetylene (C2H2) under ambient conditions, addressing the limitations of conventional methods that are high‐temperature and energy‐intensive. By using an advanced graphene oxide/sodium bismuth titanate heterostructure catalyst, this work achieved ...
