Articles N ( 2 D) Product Velocity Mapped Imaging in the VUV Photolysis of Nitrous Oxide at 118.2 nm
this paper we present results for the VUV photodissociation of N 2 O at 118.2 nm, which is nearly resonant with the transition (3pp 2p) to a Rydberg state. The VUV radiation was produced by non-resonantly tripling 354.6 nm laser light in a rare gas cell.

Liquid jet capabilities for ultrafast chemistry at the SwissFEL Alvra instrument
The technical aspects of the Alvra endstation are outlined and its scientific capabilities are demonstrated with commissioning results obtained during the early years of SwissFEL's operation. The Alvra experimental station at the Swiss X‐ray free‐electron laser, SwissFEL, investigates ultrafast dynamics in chemical and biological systems using X‐ray ...

This work examines data contained within 118 215 structures in the Protein Data Bank for unmodelled difference density concomitant with unmodelled oxidatively damaged cysteines. This analysis demonstrates that site‐specific oxidation of residues is a phenomenon of which the experimenter should be aware, and highlights the need for a suitable detection ...

Adenylate kinase was used to quantify how experimental parameters influence radiation damage during time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering (TR‐XSS) at a multipurpose SAXS beamline. The study provides general guidelines for minimizing radiation artifacts in TR‐XSS.Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering (TR‐XSS) enables tracking of protein structural ...

Abstract Hydrogen peroxide (HP) at 35% is effective for dental bleaching but may reduce enamel mineral content and induce structural changes. This study developed a bleaching‐hydrogel containing 6%HP and manganese‐oxide–doped Biosilicate (MnO_BioS), activated by violet LED, under in situ conditions.

Photolysis of organoiron arene complexes.
Photolytic demetallation of cyclopentadienyliron complexes was investigated. Effects of solvent nucleophilicity, counter anion, wavelength, and nature of the arene were studied.

Using solid‐supported membrane electrophysiology, we resolved three electrogenic events during GABA transport by the human GAT‐1 transporter. A rapid occlusion step (E1) is followed by a GABA‐induced Na+ leak current (E2), which becomes prominent under steep Na+ gradients, and a slower current associated with Na+‐coupled GABA transport (E3 ...
