Better age estimations using UV-optical colours: breaking the age-metallicity degeneracy [PDF]
, 2006 We demonstrate that the combination of GALEX UV photometry in the FUV (~1530 angstroms) and NUV (~2310 angstroms) passbands with optical photometry in the standard U,B,V,R,I filters can efficiently break the age-metallicity degeneracy.

British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.Valproic acid, an anticonvulsant, may be repositioned to prevent acute kidney injury due to ischemia followed by reperfusion. It preserves renal functions, electrolyte homeostasis and active sodium transport in kidney tubules, and blocks the onset of hypertension.
