Interactive digital photomontage [PDF]
We describe an interactive, computer-assisted framework for combining parts of a set of photographs into a single composite picture, a process we call "digital photomontage." Our framework makes use of two techniques primarily: graph-cut optimization, to choose good seams within the constituent images so that they can be combined as seamlessly as ...

Client-server based photomontage
2015 23nd Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2015This study presents a client-server architecture adopted for solution of the Poisson equation, which is a linear equation, used in photomontage. Firstly, a general idea is given about main principle of working of the proposed approach. Secondly, an approach taking into account iterative methods in order to solve the Poisson equation based on Dirichlet ...

Postconstruction Validation of Photomontage Simulations
Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1993Validation of simulation media is of concern to many environmental planners and researchers. Using results from an actual architectural competition, this article correlated preferences obtained from various preconstruction media with preferences obtained from as-built photographs. The photomontage medium performed the best with a correlation of .94.
