Defect‐Templated Phase Engineering in Atomically Thin Metals
Graphene defects are transformed from passive imperfections into programmable templates for phase‐selective growth of atomically thin silver. Plasma‐generated boundary defects favor Ag(1), whereas sp3‐rich zero‐layer graphene promotes Ag(2). This defect‐directed intercalation links local graphene chemistry to crystalline phase, electronic structure ...

Multi‐Stimuli Responsive Angstrom‐Scale Two‐Dimensional Channels of Natural Layered Materials
Å‐scale ion channels naturally formed within the interlayers of vermiculite clay enable ionic current modulation in response to mechanical, chemical, and electrical stimuli. Coupled pressure and electric fields induce reversible streaming current (Istream) polarity inversion, which is explained by a modified surface charge regulation model.

Spectral Computed Tomography with a Photon-Counting Silicon-Strip Detector
Computed tomography (CT) is a widely used medical imaging modality. By rotating an x-ray tube and an x-ray detector around the patient, a CT scanner is able to measure the x-ray transmission from all directions and form an image of the patient’s interior.
