Power-effective integral thermoelectric solar radiation converter
Aim. This article is devoted to the conversion of solar radiation into electricity using the joint effect of several methods, which complement each other by transforming the disadvantages of one method into the advantages of another method. Methods. Heat

In 1904, the Austrian physicist Fritz Hasenöhrl examined by means of mental experiments the black body radiation in a reflecting cavity. By calculating the work required to keep the cavity moving at constant velocity in opposition to the radiation ...

Photon-photon interaction in a photon gas [PDF]
Using the effective Lagrangian for the low energy photon-photon interaction the lowest order photon self energy at finite temperature and in non-equilibrium is calculated within the real time formalism. The Debye mass, the dispersion relation, the dielectric tensor, and the velocity of light following from the photon self energy are discussed.

HIGH ENERGY PHOTON-PHOTON AND ELECTRON-PHOTON COLLISIONS [PDF]
The advent of a next linear e±e- collider and back-scatterd laser beams will allow the study of a vast array of high energy processes of the Standard Model through the fusion of real and virtual photons and other gauge bosons. As examples, I discuss virtual photon scattering γ*γ*→X in the region dominated by BFKL hard Pomeron exchange and report the ...

CP violation in photon-photon collisions [PDF]
The effective lagrangian parametrization is used to determine the CP violating effects in $ \gamma \gamma $ collisions. for the processes studied the effects are found to be very small, the one exception being scalar production.Comment: 11 pages ...

Classical Limits of Light Quanta
It is argued that from a formal point of view, the classical limit of light quanta or photons is not that of a point-like particle but that of a geometric ray.
