Two-photon-counting interferometry [PDF]
Two-photon-counting interferometry has been realized by measuring the electrical current due to two-photon absorption in the space-charge layer of a semiconductor detector located at the output port of an interferometer. We apply this technique to study the correlation properties of twin beams issued from parametric fluorescence.

Quantum detector tomography of a time-multiplexed superconducting nanowire single-photon detector at telecom wavelengths [PDF]
Superconducting nanowire single-photon detectors (SNSPDs) are widely used in telecom wavelength optical quantum information science applications. Quantum detector tomography allows the positive-operator-valued measure (POVM) of a single-photon detector ...

Three-Dimensional Object Recognition With Multiview Photon-Counting Sensing and Imaging
We present a method for photon-counting sensing with three-dimensional (3-D) integral imaging for object recognition using independent component analysis (ICA). A lenslet array is used to capture multiple perspective images of a 3-D scene projected onto

Study on Single Photon Imaging Method for Permanent Shadow Crater of the Moon [PDF]
The detection of the permanent shadow area of the moon is currently a research hotspot. As the name suggests, there is no light in the permanent shadow area, and traditional methods cannot image it. This paper proposes a single photon imaging method that

An Entropy-Based Anti-Noise Method for Reducing Ranging Error in Photon Counting Lidar
Photon counting lidar for long-range detection faces the problem of declining ranging performance caused by background noise. Current anti-noise methods are not robust enough in the case of weak signal and strong background noise, resulting in poor ...
