Photon Counting 3-D Object Recognition Using Digital Holography [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We present an analysis of the recognition performance of 3-D objects reconstructed from digital holograms recorded under photon counting conditions. The digital holograms are computed by applying four-step phase-shifting techniques to interferograms ...

Compact-eight channel photon counting module with monolithic array detector

open access: yes, 2007
We present a multichannel photon counting module that exploits a monolithic array of single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). The detector array consists of eight 50μm diameter SPADs featuring low dark counting rate and high photon detection efficiency ...

Compressive Reconstruction Based on Sparse Autoencoder Network Prior for Single-Pixel Imaging

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
The combination of single-pixel imaging and single photon-counting technology enables ultra-high-sensitivity photon-counting imaging. In order to shorten the reconstruction time of single-photon counting, the algorithm of compressed sensing is used to ...

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...
