Topological photonic crystal fibers and ring resonators [PDF]
With an exact recursive approach, we study photonic crystal fibers and resonators with topological features induced by Aubry–Andre–Harper cladding modulation. We find nontrivial gaps and edge states at the interface between regions with different topological invariants.

Near-field imaging and frequency tuning of a high-Q photonic crystal membrane microcavity
We discuss experimental studies of the interaction between a nanoscopic object and a photonic crystal membrane resonator of quality factor Q=55000. By controlled actuation of a glass fiber tip in the near-field of a photonic crystal, we constructed a ...

Nano-Management of Linear Properties of Photonic Crystal Fibers
The array of nanometer air holes positioned in the core can significantly modify the properties of guided mode in photonic crystal fiber. Changing geometrical properties of nanometer holes enables tuning of fiber dispersion and the effective mode area ...

Tellurite photonic crystal fiber
We report the fabrication of a Tellurite photonic crystal fiber, and demonstrate its waveguiding properties. The measured minimum loss is 2.3 dB/m at a wavelength of 1055 nm. The fiber supports several modes, but in practice just the fundamental mode can be used. We have observed strong stimulated Raman scattering in a fiber with an effective area Aeff=

Performance Comparison of Surface Sensitizers for Diode Laser Powder Bed Fusion of Polyamide 12
Laser‐generated nanoparticles transform standard PA12 powders into high‐performance, dye‐free feedstocks for diode laser 3D printing. Despite identical absorbance at 808 nm, CuS, LaB6, and CB coatings reveal striking differences in fusion and strength—unlocking new design space for recyclable, industrial‐grade polymers.
