Photonic spin Hall effect in hyperbolic metamaterials at visible wavelengths [PDF]
The photonic spin Hall effect in transmission is a transverse beam shift of the out-coming beam depending on polarization of the incoming beam. The effect can be significantly enhanced by materials with high anisotropy. We report, to the best of our knowledge, the first experimental demonstration of the photonic spin Hall effect in a multilayer ...

Dirac-Maxwell correspondence: Spin-1 bosonic topological insulator for light
Fundamental differences between fermions and bosons are revealed in their spin and distribution statistics as well as the discrete symmetries they obey (charge, parity and time). While significant progress has been made on fermionic topological phases of

ABSTRACT Silver‐doped cerium oxide nanoparticles (Ag/CeO2 NPs) were synthesized using Ricinus communis seed extract as a bio‐derived fuel in a solution combustion method. The combustion reaction, carried out at 450°C with AgNO3 and (NH4)2[Ce (NO3)6] as metal precursors, produced CeO2 and Ag/CeO2 NPs.

Metasurfaces and Metadevices for Topological Electromagnetic Waves
Optical topologies refer to diverse topological localized structures made by diverse parameters of light fields, such as vortices, skyrmions, and hopfions. This article navigates a direction of metasurface‐based integrated devices for generation, manipulation and detection of novel topologies of light, which would be a rapidly growing interdisciplinary

The Progress of Orbitronics: The Enhancement of Orbital Torque Efficiency
Orbit‐torque (OT) devices attract significant attention for their low‐power consumption and high stability in applications. This review systematically outlines strategies for enhancing OT efficiency. We categorize approaches into boosting orbital currents/torques and improving the orbital‐to‐spin conversion coefficient.

Probing photonic spin Hall effect with Fizeau drag in graphene
Graphene is of particular interest in optoelectronics due to its remarkable transport properties. We analyze the photonic spin Hall effect (PSHE) of a light beam reflected from a layered structure of graphene in its current-carrying state.
