3D‐Printed Metal‐Supported MOF‐Heteropoly Acid Nanozyme for High‐Performance Peroxidase‐Mimic Activity and Ultra‐Sensitive Glucose Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A hierarchically structured Fe‐BTC‐PMA immobilized 3D‐printed platform is engineered as a robust artificial enzyme for colorimetric glucose sensing. The hybrid architecture efficiently activates H2O2 to drive TMB oxidation. This integrated system enables sensitive, reusable, and scalable detection with enhanced catalytic stability and analytical ...

Physiological and molecular responses to drought and salinity in soybean

open access: yesBiologia Plantarum, 2017
Drought and salinity are severe environmental stresses and limit soybean growth. In this study, a comparative analysis of physiological and molecular responses of two soybean (Glycine max L.) genotypes to these stresses was carried out. Plants of drought-

Achieving High‐Density and Stress‐Resilient Maize Breeding Via Germplasm Innovation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Global population growth and climate change have exacerbated the global food crisis. This perspective presents a conceptual framework focusing on enhancing population advantages. Several novel breeding objectives are proposed to improve density tolerance and stress resistance for yield improvement.

Modulating the Charge Transfer Channels via Constructing Charge‐Assisted Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Frameworks for Enhanced Photosynthesis of Hydrogen Peroxide

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reports a strategy of engineering charge‐assisted hydrogen bonds to tailor charge transfer channels in HOFs, significantly improving their performance in photocatalytic H2O2 production. ABSTRACT The production of H2O2 via artificial photosynthesis is often limited by inefficient charge‐carrier separation, causing significant charge ...

Seawater carbonate chemistry, chlorophyll a and photosynthetic carbon fixation rate under different light and pCO2 conditions during experiments, 2010

open access: yes, 2010
We carried out short term pCO2/pH perturbation experiments in the coastal waters of the South China Sea to evaluate the combined effects of seawater acidification (low pH/high pCO2) and solar UV radiation (UVR, 280–400 nm) on photosynthetic carbon ...

Photosynthetic Rate of Lettuce Cultivated on Floating Raft Hydroponic with Controlled Nutrient Solution

open access: yes, 2020
Lettuce becomes the main ingredient of salad as one of the healthy foods. The lettuce cultivation in tropical areas is often performed in highland. To reduce soil erosion and pesticide contamination, the cultivation of lettuce plants in high open land ...

The moss Bryum argenteum var. muticum Brid. is well adapted to cope with high light in continental Antarctica [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The net photosynthetic rate (NP), chlorophyll fluorescence, carotenoid content and chlorophyll content of the cosmopolitan moss Bryum argenteum were measured in the field at Botany Bay, southern Victoria Land, continental Antarctica (77°S).

Chitosan‐Carbon Dot Composite Materials Form a Leaf Surface Barrier to Mitigate the Enrichment and Invasion of Nanoplastics: From Leaf Interface to Systemic Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Foliar spraying of CS‐CDs can form a film on the leaves of Brassica rapa, effectively reducing the enrichment and absorption of PS in the leaves, while increasing the biomass and nutrient content of the plants. In addition, CS‐CDs can also enrich the interfoliar microbial community and activate the plant's own defense metabolic pathways.

Wavefront Line‐Scan Imaging Via a Single‐Pixel Detector

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We propose and demonstrate a wavefront line‐scan imaging paradigm that integrates 1D spatial light modulation with single‐pixel detection. Benefiting from 1D modulation, not only is the imaging speed improved, but also the storage of modulation patterns is reduced by several orders of magnitude.
