Engineering Cellular Self‐Adhesions Inside 3D Printed Micro‐Arches to Enhance Cell:Biomaterial Attachment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 32, August 14, 2025.
Surprisingly, a cell can bind to itself to make a self‐adhesion, which engineered here to improve how cells attach to biomaterials. Nanoprinting are used to make 3D structures smaller than cells–called Self‐Adhesion‐Tunnels (SATs)–around which cells can wrap and bind to themselves.

High‐Efficiency Carriers’ Separation Strategy Based Ultrasmall‐Bandgap CuWO4 Sono‐Enhances GSH Antagonism for Cuproptosis Cascade Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 29, August 7, 2025.
This study prepares copper tungstate (CuWO4, CWO) nanoparticles for synergistic sono‐enhanced cuproptosis‐based cancer therapy. With an ultrasmall bandgap (1.71 eV), CWO facilitates efficient charge carrier separation under ultrasound, enhancing the generation of reactive oxygen species and the controlled release of Cu2+ ions cascade amplify oxidative ...

Utilizing Cordyceps cicadae Mycelium as a Potential Supplement for Alleviating UVB‐Induced Photokeratitis Symptoms In Vivo

open access: yeseFood, Volume 6, Issue 4, August 2025.
Cordyceps cicadae mycelium extracts (CCME) have been reported to exert beneficial effects on ocular diseases. TV, TBUT, and cornea surface indexes were improved with oral CCME intake. Immunohistochemical assays showed that p63 + , PCNA, NF‐κB and COX‐2 expressions decreased in the CCME group than that of the UVB group. The corneas of those treated with
