Anion‐π+ Type AIE‐Active Photosensitizers for Ferroptosis‐Driven Photodynamic Immunotherapy Against Hypoxic Solid Tumors

open access: yesAggregate, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
An anion‐π+ type AIE photosensitizer (TMTPA NPs) with NIR emission was successfully developed through a sulfidation strategy. With its exceptional mitochondrial targeting abilities and efficient Type I ROS generation, TMTPA NPs effectively trigger ferroptosis.

Morphological and Optical Characterization of NRAS‐Mutant Melanoma Cells and Primary Melanocytes via Quantitative Phase Imaging With Digital Holographic Microscopy

open access: yesCell Biochemistry and Function, Volume 44, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT Early detection of melanoma, a highly variable and aggressive form of skin cancer, is crucial for improving patient outcomes. It is essential to distinguish malignant cells from normal melanocytes, and therefore, label‐free imaging methods that can do so are needed.

Fermentation‐Assisted Valorization: A Sustainable Strategy for Turning Fruit By‐Products Into Value‐Added Food Supplements

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
ABSTRACT A substantial proportion of fresh fruit undergoes processing, resulting in underutilized fruit by‑products (FBPs) that are rich in dietary fiber and bioactive compounds. Recent FBP valorization trends demonstrate that fermentation significantly enhances microbiological, nutritional, and sensory attributes, yielding value‑added food supplements.
