A practical and scalable route to C1 and C2 lysine homologs has been developed using Hofmann degradation of N‐protected L‐asparagine and L‐glutamine as the key step. These short‐tether scaffolds enable efficient synthesis of diverse Fmoc‐protected noncanonical amino acids (ncAAs) bearing donor, acceptor, redox‐active, and fluorescent residues.

Erasable FAP Targeted Spray‐On Probe for Fluorescence‐Guided Surgery
We present the first erasable spray‐on probe for fluorescence‐guided surgery. Following topical delivery, FAP‐FLASH550 targets fibroblast activation protein–expressing stromal cells, delineating tumor margins with high tumor‐to‐background ratios. A 365 nm UV light pulse rapidly erases fluorescent signals through triazene photodegradation and subsequent

Nanoshell Fabrication Techniques for Probiotic Encapsulation: A Comprehensive Review
ABSTRACT Probiotics, beneficial microorganisms, confer numerous health benefits when administered. However, their efficacy is hindered by harsh gut conditions, including acidity, bile acids, and enzymatic degradation. To overcome these challenges, encapsulation and nanoshell technology have emerged as a pivotal strategy to enhance probiotic stability ...

Antioxidant and Degradable Poly(Squaryl Thioester) Networks
Herein, squaryl dichloride is introduced as a novel monomer to the realm of thermosets. First, squaryl dichloride is prepared from squaric acid, and then it is reacted with multifunctional thiol compounds to prepare novel networks. Overall, it is demonstrated that squaryl dichloride is a suitable monomer for the fabrication of thermally stable, acid ...
