Molecular Cloning, Primary Sequence Characterization and Phylogentic Analysis of Cathepsin B cysteine from Sheep (Ovis aries) Ovarian

Indian Journal of Animal Research, 2020
Background: CathepsinB (CTSB) is a lysosomal cysteine protease which has been implicated in a variety of physiological and pathological processes. However, the sequence and structure characteristics of sheep CTSB gene are still unclear, which severely restricts the further study about genetic variation, molecular evolution.

Molecular phylogentic analysis of a bacterial community in Sulphur River, Parker Cave, Kentucky

American Mineralogist, 1998
Sulphur River in Parker Cave, Kentucky receives sulfurous water (11‐21 mg sulfide/L) from the Phantom Waterfall and contains a microbial mat composed of white filaments. We extend a previous morphological survey with a molecular phylogenetic analysis of the bacteria of the microbial mat.

Phylogentic analysis of Anaplasma ovis strains isolated from sheep and goats using groEL and mps4 genes

Veterinary Microbiology, 2009
Evidence of Anaplasma spp. in goats and sheep in Cyprus has been demonstrated by previous research. Herein, further research was performed for the identification of the exact Anaplasma spp. resulting in the identification of Anaplasma ovis strains in all samples examined. We used a bioinformatics as well as a molecular approach (study of groEl and mps4

Phylogentic relationship of cold tolerant Mentha arvensis variety ‘CIM Kranti’ with some released varieties as assessed through physiological and molecular analysis

Journal of Applied Research on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, 2018
Abstract An elite genotype of Mentha arvensis was developed through half sib progeny selection with cold tolerance and higher yields of essential oil during winters. Molecular variations were assessed among nine released commercial varieties and the new variety 'CIM-Kranti' by RAPD and ISSR.
