Rapid adsorption and enhanced removal of emodin and physcion by nano zirconium carbide

Science of The Total Environment, 2019
In this study, nano zirconium carbide (n-ZrC) was synthesized by preceramic polymers method, and it was used to adsorb emodin and physcion from solutions for the first time. The prepared material was characterized by various technologies. The adsorption experiment was carried out to investigate the emodin and physcion removal performance.

Physcion-8-O-β-D-gentiobiosid, ein neues Hauptglykosid aus Radix Rhei

Planta Medica, 1982
A new anthraquinone glycoside - physcion-8-O-beta-D-gentiobioside - has been isolated from rhubarb roots in high yield. The structure was confirmed by H-NMR and MS-data as well as by direct comparison with the synthesized compound. The new substance was the main anthraquinone glycoside in some of the investigated samples of rhubarb roots and extracts.

Bionic fungicide physcion controls gray mold in tomato: possible modes of action

Journal of General Plant Pathology, 2018
In this investigation of the efficacy of the natural product physcion for the control of gray mold of tomato in the field and possible modes of action, physcion was significantly less effective in in vitro antifungal tests than synthetic fungicides pyrimethanil and boscalid.

Electrochemical Chlorination of Physcion – An Approach to Naturally Occurring Chlorinated Secondary Metabolites of Lichens

Helvetica Chimica Acta, 2011
AbstractThe electrochemical chlorination of physcion (=1,8‐dihydroxy‐3‐methoxy‐6‐methylanthracene‐9,10‐dione; 1) in AcOH and CH2Cl2 was investigated by cyclic voltammetry and prep.‐scale electrolysis. This approach provided access to a number of diverse biologically and pharmacologically interesting chlorinated secondary metabolites of lichen.

[Study on hepatotoxicity of physcion based on liver metabolism in vitro].

Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2019
To evaluate the hepatotoxicity risks of physcion on the basis of the bilirubin metabolism mediated by glucuronidation of UDP-glucuronosyltransferases 1A1(UGT1A1 enzyme). The monomers were added into the rat liver microsomes to test the hepatotoxicity by using bilirubin as UGT1A1 enzyme substrate, with apparent inhibition constant K_i as the evaluation ...

[Determination of sennoside B, sennoside A and physcion in slimming health foods].

Wei sheng yan jiu = Journal of hygiene research, 2020
To establish a quantitative analysis method for sennoside A, sennoside B and physcion by ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS).The sample was extracted by methanol-2 mmol/L ammonium formate(9∶1) at 40 ℃ for 1 h. The separation was performed using Agilent Eclipse Plus C_(18 )(2. 1 mm × 50 mm, 1.
