The purpose of this chapter is to explore the concept of becoming “physically educated” and the holistic wellbeing and health benefits that it enables. In doing so, the terms “schooling” and “education”; “wellbeing”; “health”; and “health literacy” are investigated, defined and located within the broader physical education (PE) field.
