SD-PUF: Spliced Digital Physical Unclonable Function
IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 2018Digital circuit physical unclonable function (PUF) has been attracting attentions for the merits of resilience to the environmental and operational variations that analog PUFs suffer from. Existing state-of-the-art digital circuit PUFs, however, are either hybrid of analog-digital circuits which are still under the shadow of vulnerability, or ...

Reliability Improvement on SRAM Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) Using an 8T Cell in 28 nm FDSOI
IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 2022An 8T cell is proposed to improve reliability and radiation tolerance of the static random access memory (SRAM) physical unclonable function (PUF) which is formed by adding two cascode pMOS transistors biased at the ON-state to standard 6T cell.

TCO-PUF: A subthreshold physical unclonable function
2015 11th Conference on Ph.D. Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PRIME), 2015A Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) is a promising technology towards comprehensive security protection for integrated circuit applications. It provides a secure method of hardware identification and authentication by exploiting inherent manufacturing process variations to generate a unique response for each device.

Sensitized path PUF: A lightweight embedded physical unclonable function
Design, Automation & Test in Europe Conference & Exhibition (DATE), 2017, 2017Physical unclonable functions (PUFs) can be used for a number of security applications, including secure on-chip generation of secret keys. We introduce an embedded PUF concept called sensitized path PUF (SP-PUF) that is based on extracting entropy out of inherent timing variability of modules already present in the circuit.

TV-PUF: A Fast Lightweight Analog Physical Unclonable Function
2016 IEEE International Symposium on Nanoelectronic and Information Systems (iNIS), 2016Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) is the hardwarecounterpart of a one-way function. It is capable of addressinghardware security issues such as device authentication, secretkey generation for cryptographic protocols, producing seeds forRandom Number Generators and much more.
