Research on security architecture of strong PUF by adversarial learning

open access: yes网络与信息安全学报, 2021
To overcome the vulnerability of strong physical unclonable function, the adversarial learning model of strong PUF was presented based on the adversarial learning theory, then the training process of gradient descent algorithm was analyzed under the ...

SRAM-PUF Key Extraction Method and Performance Analysis Based on RS and BCH Codes [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng
The Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) is a unique and nonreplicable physical fingerprint formed by random deviations during chip manufacturing that can be used to identify individual chips.

Security Evaluation of n-Choose-k-Sum PUFs Against Modeling Attacks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
A physical unclonable function (PUF) generates hardware intrinsic volatile secrets by exploiting uncontrollable manufacturing randomness. Several PUF candidates use challenge-response pairs (CRPs) to enhance their security.

A Novel Ultra-Compact FPGA PUF: The DD-PUF

open access: yesCryptography, 2021
In this paper, we present a novel ultra-compact Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) architecture and its FPGA implementation. The proposed Delay Difference PUF (DD-PUF) is the most dense FPGA-compatible PUF ever reported in the literature, allowing the ...

MAG-PUF: Magnetic Physical Unclonable Functions for Device Authentication in the IoT

open access: yes, 2023
Authenticating Internet of Things (IoT) devices is still a challenge, especially in deployments involving low-cost constrained nodes. The cited class of IoT devices hardly support dynamic re-keying solutions, hence being vulnerable to several attacks.

Neuron-PUF: Physical Unclonable Function Based on a Single Spiking Neuron

open access: yes2021 IEEE 27th International Symposium on On-Line Testing and Robust System Design (IOLTS), 2021
We propose a novel Physical Unclonable Function (PUF) concept based on a single spiking neuron. The inherent variability of the neuron results in a chip-unique analog spiking pattern that is digitized to produce a chip-unique digital key. A stability booster is also employed based on self-masking to obtain a fully stable digital key.

Reconfigurable Security Architecture (RESA) Based on PUF for FPGA-Based IoT Devices

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Cybersecurity is a challenge in the utilization of IoT devices. One of the main security functions that we need for IoT devices is authentication. In this work, we used physical unclonable function (PUF) technology to propose a lightweight authentication

A Compact and Low Power RO PUF with High Resilience to the EM Side-Channel Attack and the SVM Modelling Attack of Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesSensors, 2018
Authentication is a crucial security service for the wireless sensor networks (WSNs) in versatile domains. The deployment of WSN devices in the untrusted open environment and the resource-constrained nature make the on-chip authentication an open ...
