In this work, diamonds with negative charged silicon‐vacancy (SiV−) centers have been designed for use as thermometers in biomedical applications. Multiparametric analysis of the emission characteristics of the SiV− centers provides extraordinary sensitivity for temperature detection in the physiological temperature range.

Bounding the stability and rupture condition of emulsion and foam films [PDF]
[Abstract]: A scaling law is presented that provides a complete solution to the equations bounding the stability and rupture of thin films. The scaling law depends on the fundamental physicochemical properties of the film and interface to calculate ...

Effect of Temperature Conditions on the Physicochemical Quality of Aged Black Garlic
This study investigates the effects of different temperature conditions on the quality of black garlic (BG) during the aging process. Two temperature protocols were employed: gradual heating and cooling (GHC), where the temperature was slowly raised from 45 °C to 77 °C and then lowered to 59 °C at a rate of 1 °C per hour, and rapid heating and cooling (
