ERF transcription factor StPti5 is a regulator of endophyte community maintenance in potato
Summary We have recently identified an ethylene response factor, StPti5, as a susceptibility factor that negatively regulates immune responses to diverse pathogens. Here, we investigated the role of StPti5 in the processes involved in the colonization of potato with beneficial organisms.

Juglone affects phytohormone balance in corn roots

Cuscuta reflexa infection sites. Summary Cuscuta species are holoparasitic plants that penetrate host stems with haustoria, connect to the vasculature and exhaust water, nutrients and carbohydrates. Parasite seedlings possess only limited maternal reserves and the development of a vascular connection takes several days.

Endogenous RALF peptide function is required for powdery mildew host colonization
Model of RALF‐FER‐dependent effects on powdery mildew sporulation. Summary The receptor kinase FERONIA (FER) is a susceptibility factor for biotrophic powdery mildew fungal pathogens in Arabidopsis thaliana, but the underlying molecular mechanisms remain largely unknown. FER is required for the perception of endogenous RAPID ALKALINIZATION FACTOR (RALF)

EMF2 mutation alters transcriptomic profiles in Arabidopsis calli while retaining responsiveness during root induction. Summary Plant de novo organogenesis depends on callus formation, yet the epigenetic mechanisms governing organ regeneration remain poorly understood.

In the decades since their discovery in plants in the mid-to-late 1900s, melatonin (N-acetyl-5-methoxytryptamine) and serotonin (5-methoxytryptamine) have been established as their own class of phytohormone and have become popular targets for examination

Proposed regulatory model of OsMYB305 in leaf senescence. Summary Accumulating evidence has identified transcription factors (TFs) as key regulators of the onset and progression of leaf senescence. However, the regulatory role of the rice myeloblastosis (MYB) TF OsMYB305 in this process remains largely unknown.

ABSTRACT Cold stress threatens wheat productivity, particularly in regions with extreme climatic conditions. To elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying wheat's response to cold stress, we performed a multiomics analysis integrating lipidomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics.

Light‑Induced Changes in Phytohormone Levels of Developing Sunfower (Helianthus annuus L.) Seedlings
Daily changes in the content of phytohormones accumulating in the hypocotyls of young sunfower seedlings that grow under a 14/10-h light-to-dark (LD) photoperiod were followed using LC–MS. The objective of the work was to investigate whether the presence
