Phyiophthora cínnamomi is soilborn pseudofungus, associated to the Oomycetes with ink disease of chestnut. Lipases (triacylglycerols hydrolases) are important enzymes in fat metabolism, catalyzing the breakdown of triacylglycerols to free fatty acids and g!ycerol.
