Physiological differences among isolates of Phytophthora cinnamomi

Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 1975
Significant differences in amylase, β-glucosidase, and phosphatase activities were observed among four Phytophthora cinnamomi isolates grown in nutrient-amended sterilized soil for 20 days. Amylase pH optima for the four isolates were within a relatively narrow range; at pH 5.5 each isolate was within 90% of its peak activity. Isolates SB-216-1, 1-281,

Retrievability of Phytophthora cinnamomi in sand plates

Mycological Research, 1989
Zoospore cyst suspensions of Phytophthora cinnamomi, added to a simulated soil, showed similar patterns of retrievability over time to those found for Pythium.

Phytophthora cambivora/Phytophthora cinnamomi. Ipotesi di vicarianza

2011
Vengono riportate alcune osservazioni che portano ad ipotizzare che i due oomiceti Phytophthora cambivora e Phytophthora cinnamomi possano essere vicarianti nella loro azione ...

Interactions between Phytophthora cinnamomi and Rhizobium isolates

Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1984
The effect of Rhizobium isolates on sporulation, hyphal lysis and zoospore survival of P. cinnamomi was examined in extracts of suppressive and conducive soils. Varying degrees of inhibition of P. cinnamomi growth by fifteen Rhizobium isolates were observed on agar media.

Bacterial Stimulation of Sporangium Production in Phytophthora cinnamomi

Science, 1965
Bacteria, notably Chromobacterium violaceum , stimulate initiation of production of sporangia by Phytophthora cinnamomi , a plant pathogen which does not produce this asexual stage in ordinary agar or liquid culture.
