Typification and current status of the Turkish taxa described by Hanna Czeczott

open access: yesTAXON, Volume 74, Issue 5, Page 1248-1261, October 2025.
Abstract Hanna Czeczott's 1925 expeditions to northern Turkey resulted in the description of 22 new taxa. Our study revisits them using Czeczott's original publications and herbarium collections. Of the 22 taxa described, we located all or parts of the original material for 21, designate 13 lectotypes (including one second‐step) and confirm 7 holotypes,

New and Overlooked Syntaxa of European Vegetation and Their Accumulation Over Time

open access: yesApplied Vegetation Science, Volume 28, Issue 4, October/December 2025.
Since the 2016 publication of EuroVegChecklist, many new high‐rank syntaxa have been described from Europe. We reviewed syntaxa described in 2017–2022 and syntaxa described earlier but not included in EuroVegChecklist. We found 364 such alliances, orders, and classes.
