Distribution of Functional Traits Along Climatic Gradients in the Subtropical Atlantic Forest

open access: yesAustral Ecology, Volume 50, Issue 11, November 2025.
We assessed the correlation between climatic factors and altitude with the spatial distribution of tree functional traits in the Subtropical Atlantic Forest. Deciduousness, symbiotic fixation of nitrogen (SNF), toothed leaf, spinescence and leaf area were more significantly associated with climatic drivers.

Relationship among grain-size, plant communities, and fluvial and eolian processes in a piedmont of the central Andes in Argentina

open access: yesEcología Austral, 2003
The relationship among modern geomorphological processes, grain-size of surface sediments, and vegetation was analyzed in an alluvial fan in the piedmont of the Cordillera Frontal (Andes Mountains). Statistical parameters of grain-size distribution were

Contribution of SPOT-7 multi-temporal imagery for mapping wetland vegetation

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Remote Sensing, 2020
Mapping the fine-grained pattern of vegetation is critical for assessing the functions and conservation status of wetlands. Although satellite time-series images can accurately model vegetation, the spatial resolution of these data is generally too ...

Typification and current status of the Turkish taxa described by Hanna Czeczott

open access: yesTAXON, Volume 74, Issue 5, Page 1248-1261, October 2025.
Abstract Hanna Czeczott's 1925 expeditions to northern Turkey resulted in the description of 22 new taxa. Our study revisits them using Czeczott's original publications and herbarium collections. Of the 22 taxa described, we located all or parts of the original material for 21, designate 13 lectotypes (including one second‐step) and confirm 7 holotypes,
