CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation
Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.Radovan Krejcir, Lukasz Arcimowicz, Lucia Martinkova, Vaclav Hrabal, Filip Zavadil Kokas, Tomas Henek, Martina Kucerikova, Ondrej Bonczek, Pavlina Zatloukalova, Lenka Hernychova, Philip J. Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.Liqun He, Chiara Testini, Neda Hekmati, Altea Bonello, Aglaia Schiza, Emmanuel Nwadozi, Mia Phillipson, Carina Strell, Michael Welsh +8 morewiley +1 more sourceOpen charm spectroscopy at LHCb
, 2015 Recent charm spectroscopy results from Dalitz plot analyses of $B$ decays to
open charm final states at LHCb are presented. The decay modes used are $B^{+}

Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.Jutta Schmitz, Anna L. Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...Vanessa Tolotto, Nicolò Gualandi, Ylenia Cortolezzis, Raffaella Picco, Monica Colitti, Francesca D'Este, Mariachiara Gani, Wayne W. , 2009 We report a measurement of the ratio of branching fractions of the decays B(+/-) -> J/psi pi(+/-) and B(+/-) -> J/psi K(+/-) using the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The signal from the Cabbibo-suppressed B(+/-)-> J/psi pi(+/-) decay is separated from B(+/-) -> J/psi K(+/-) using the B(+/-)-> J/psi K(+/-) invariant ...ABULENCIA A, ADELMAN J, AFFOLDER T, AKIMOTO T, ALBROW MG, AMBROSE D, AMERIO S, AMIDEI D, ANASTASSOV A, ANIKEEV K, ANNOVI A, ANTOS J, AOKI M, APOLLINARI G, ARGUIN JF, ARISAWA T, ARTIKOV A, ASHMANSKAS W, ATTAL A, AZFAR F, AZZI BACCHETTA P, AZZURRI P, BACCHETTA N, BADGETT W, BARBARO GALTIERI A, BARNES VE, BARNETT BA, BAROIANT S, BARTSCH V, BAUER G, BEDESCHI F, BEHARI S, BELFORTE S, BELLETTINI G, BELLINGER J, BELLONI A, BENJAMIN D, BERETVAS A, BERINGER J, BERRY T, BHATTI A, BINKLEY M, BISELLO D, BLAIR RE, BLOCKER C, BLUMENFELD B, BOCCI A, BODEK A, BOISVERT V, BOLLA G, BOLSHOV A, BORTOLETTO D, BOUDREAU J, BOVEIA A, BRAU B, BRIGLIADORI L, BROMBERG C, BRUBAKER E, BUDAGOV J, BUDD HS, BUDD S, BUDRONI S, BURKETT K, BUSETTO G, BUSSEY P, BYRUM KL, CABRERA S, CAMPANELLI M, CAMPBELL M, CANELLI F, CANEPA A, CARILLO S, CARLSMITH D, CAROSI R, CARRON S, CASARSA M, CASTRO A, CATASTINI P, CAUZ D, CAVALLI SFORZA M, CERRI A, CERRITO L, CHANG SH, CHEN YC, CHERTOK M, CHIARELLI G, CHLACHIDZE G, CHLEBANA F, CHO I, CHO K, CHOKHELI D, CHOU JP, CHOUDALAKIS G, CHUANG SH, CHUNG K, CHUNG WH, CHUNG YS, CILJAK M, CIOBANU CI, CIOCCI MA, CLARK A, CLARK D, COCA M, COMPOSTELLA G, CONVERY ME, CONWAY J, COOPER B, COPIC K, CORDELLI M, CORTIANA G, CRESCIOLI F, ALMENAR CC, CUEVAS J, CULBERTSON R, CULLY JC, CYR D, DARONCO S, DATTA M, D'AURIA S, DAVIES T, D'ONOFRIO M, DAGENHART D, DE BARBARO P, DE CECCO, Sandro, DEISHER A, DE LENTDECKER G, DELL'ORSO M, DELLI PAOLI F, DEMORTIER L, DENG J, DENINNO M, DE PEDIS D, DERWENT PF, DI GIOVANNI GP, DIONISI, Carlo, DI RUZZA B, DITTMANN JR, DITURO P, DORR C, DONATI S, DONEGA M, DONG P, DONINI J, DORIGO T, DUBE S, EFRON J, ERBACHER R, ERREDE D, ERREDE S, EUSEBI R, FANG HC, FARRINGTON S, FEDORKO I, FEDORKO WT, FEILD RG, FEINDT M, FERNANDEZ JP, FIELD R, FLANAGAN G, FOLAND A, FORRESTER S, FOSTER GW, FRANKLIN M, FREEMAN JC, FURIC I, GALLINARO M, GALYARDT J, GARCIA JE, GARBERSON F, GARFINKEL AF, GAY C, GERBERICH H, GERDES D, GIAGU, Stefano, GIANNETTI P, GIBSON A, GIBSON K, GIMMELL JL, GINSBURG C, GIOKARIS N, GIORDANI M, GIROMINI P, GIUNTA M, GIURGIU G, GLAGOLEV V, GLENZINSKI D, GOLD M, GOLDSCHMIDT N, GOLDSTEIN J, GOLOSSANOV A, GOMEZ G, GOMEZ CEBALLOS G, GONCHAROV M, MARGAROLI, Fabrizio, GORELOV I, GOSHAW AT, GOULIANOS K, GRESELE A, GRIFFITHS M, GRINSTEIN S, IORI, Maurizio, LATINO G, LOVERRE, Pier Ferruccio, MESSINA, Andrea +203 moreopenaire +4 more sourcesMeasurement of the ratios of branching fractions B (B(s)(0)-> D(s)(-) pi(+) pi(+) pi(-))/B(B(0) -> D(-) pi(+) pi(+) pi(-)) and B(B(s)(0) -> D(s)(-) pi(+))/B(B(0)-> D(-) pi(+))
