Measurement of the ratios of branching fractions B(B(s)(0)-> D(s)(-)pi(+))/B(B(0)-> D(-)pi(+)) and B(B(+)->(D)over-bar(0)pi(+))/B(B(0)-> D(-)pi(+)) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
We report an observation of the decay B(s)(0)-> D(s)(-)pi(+) in p (p) over bar collisions at root s = 1.96 TeV using 115 pb(-1) of data collected by the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron. We observe 83 +/- 11(stat) B(s)(0)-> D(s)(-)pi(+) candidates, representing a large increase in statistics over previous measurements and the first ...

Measurement of the Ratios of Branching Fractions B(Bs -> Ds pi pi pi) / B(Bd -> Dd pi pi pi) and B(Bs -> Ds pi) / B(Bd -> Dd pi)

open access: yes, 2006
Using 355 pb^-1 of data collected by the CDF II detector in \ppbar collisions at sqrt{s} = 1.96 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron, we study the fully reconstructed hadronic decays B -> D pi and B -> D pi pi pi. We present the first measurement of the ratio of branching fractions B(Bs -> Ds pi pi pi) / B(Bd -> Dd pi pi pi) = 1.05 pm 0.10 (stat) pm 0.22 (syst)

Study of $B^{-}\to DK^-\pi^+\pi^-$ and $B^-\to D\pi^-\pi^+\pi^-$ decays and determination of the CKM angle $\gamma$ [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
22 pages, 9 figuresInternational audienceWe report a study of the suppressed $B^-\to DK^-\pi^+\pi^-$ and favored $B^-\to D\pi^-\pi^+\pi^-$ decays, where the neutral $D$ meson is detected through its decays to the $K^{\mp}\pi^{\pm}$ and CP-even $K^+K ...

Projective prime ideals and localisation in pi-rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The results here generalise [2, Proposition 4.3] and [9, Theorem 5.11]. We shall prove the following. THEOREM A. Let R be a Noetherian PI-ring. Let P be a non-idempotent prime ideal of R such that PR is projective. Then P is left localisable and RP is

A tert-Butyldiphenylsilyl-Containing Polyimide-Based Chemosensor for Sequential Detection of Fluoride Ions and Trace Water in Organic Solvents

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
A tert-butyldiphenylsilyl-containing polyimide (PI-OSi) has been established as a colorimetric and ratiometric chemosensor for rapid detecting fluoride ions (F−).

Dalitz plot analysis of B-+/-->pi(+/-)pi(+/-)pi(-/+) decays [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We present a Dalitz plot analysis of charmless B-+/- decays to the final state pi(+/-)pi(+/-)pi(-/+) using a sample of (465 +/- 5)x10(6) B(B)over bar pairs collected by the BABAR experiment at root s=10.58 GeV. We measure the branching fractions B(B-+/-->

Generating a resonance-like structure in the reaction $$B_c\rightarrow B_s \pi \pi $$ B c → B s π π

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
We investigate the process $$B_c^+\rightarrow B_s^0\pi ^+\pi ^0$$ B c + → B s 0 π + π 0 via $$B\bar{K}^*$$ B K ¯ ∗ rescattering. The kinematic conditions for triangle singularities are perfectly satisfied in the rescattering diagrams.

First Observation of the Decays (B)over-bar(0) -> D+K-pi(+)pi(-) and B- -> (DK-)-K-0 pi(+)pi(-)

open access: yes, 2012
First observations of the Cabibbo-suppressed decays (B) over bar (0) -> D+K-pi(+)pi(-) and B- -> (DK-)-K-0 pi(+)pi(-) are reported using 35 pb(-1) of data collected with the LHCb detector.
