A matheuristic for the traveling salesman problem with positional consistency constraints
Abstract We propose a matheuristic for the traveling salesman problem with positional consistency constraints, where we seek to generate a set of routes with minimum total cost, in which the nodes visited in more than one route (consistent nodes) must occupy the same relative position in all routes.

Abstract This narrative review examines the relationship between the size of children's drawings and their expressed emotions about the depicted subjects, focusing on research conducted between 1988 and 2023. The studies are presented chronologically to demonstrate how researchers have progressively addressed methodological challenges identified in ...

Unequal Solidarity: Club Rules and Crisis Support in the European Polity
Abstract Is European solidarity during crises due to common or close identities? Or do Europeans punish rule‐breaking countries by showing them less solidarity? Research on the determinants of European solidarity increasingly focuses on ‘solidarity to’, how givers' attitudes are shaped by their perceptions of receiving member states.

Enhancing CRISPR‐Cas12a base editing in plants with LbCas12a variants and introns
Intron optimization of LbCas12a‐RRV improves cytosine and adenine base editing efficiency in plants, supports multiplexed and double‐strand break‐free genome modification, and expands precise genome engineering tools for crop breeding and plant functional research. ABSTRACT Cytosine base editors (CBEs) and adenine base editors (ABEs) are powerful tools

‘Unbecoming’ a Professional: The Role of Memory during Field Transitions in Japan and the USA
Abstract Existing scholarship documents how, in becoming a professional, such as a partner in a professional services firm (PSF), one's habitus comes into alignment with field expectations. Less understood, however, is what happens to habitus and, relatedly, to professionals' accumulated cultural, social, and economic capitals, as individuals ‘unbecome’

The Core‐Periphery Model Under Additively Separable Preferences
ABSTRACT This paper reexamines Krugman's core‐periphery model by substituting his constant elasticity of substitution (CES) utility with a general additively separable utility that comprehensively captures the pro‐competitive effect while preserving the income effect.

Structure and sequence evolution in the pennycress (Thlaspi arvense) pangenome
Summary Eukaryotic genomes harbor many forms of variation, including nucleotide diversity and structural polymorphisms, which experience natural selection and contribute to genome evolution and biodiversity. Harnessing this variation for agriculture hinges on our ability to detect, quantify, catalog, and deploy genetic diversity. Here, we explore seven
