Stilbenes from Picea abies bark
Phytochemistry, 1992Abstract The antileukaemic activity of some stilbenes from the bark of Picea abies was tested. Among them, the main stilbene, isorhapontin, showed antileukaemic activity. The approximate relative percentage of five major stilbenes in the bark was determined by reversed phase HPLC.
