Uniqueness of a positive solution for quasilinear elliptic equations in Heisenberg group

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
In this note we address the question of uniqueness of the Brezis-Oswald problem for the p-Laplacian operator in Heisenberg Group.

Anti‐inflammatory effects of physical stimuli: The central role of networks in shaping the future of pharmacological research

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 10, Page 2177-2196, May 2026.
Addressing complexity in the study of life sciences through Systems Biology and Systems Medicine has been transformative, making Systems Pharmacology the next logical step. In this review, we focus on physical stimuli, whose potential in pharmacology has been neglected, despite demonstrated therapeutic properties.

Generalized Picone's formula and forced oscillations in quasilinear differential equations of the second order [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
summary:In the paper a comparison theory of Sturm-Picone type is developed for the pair of nonlinear second-order ordinary differential equations first of which is the quasilinear differential equation with an oscillatory forcing term and the second is ...

Picone-type identity for pseudo \(p\)-Laplacian with variable power

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2012
Summary: A Picone type identity is established for homogeneous differential operators involving the pseudo \(p\)-Laplacian with variable exponent \(p=p(x)\). Using this identity, it is shown that the classical Sturmian theory extends to the associated partial differential equations.

ANISOTROPIC PICONE IDENTITIES FOR HALF LINEAR CONFORMABLE ELLIPTIC EQUATIONS

open access: yesJOURNAL OF MECHANICS OF CONTINUA AND MATHEMATICAL SCIENCES
This study is devoted to investigating the anisotropic picone identities for half-linear Conformable elliptic equations and the Hardy-type inequality. Further, we provide some results for the nonlinear analogue to Picone identity.

Picone Identities of a Certain Class of Conformable Half Linear Anisotropic Biharmonic Equations

open access: yesMalaysian Journal of Fundamental and Applied Sciences
Main aim of this article, we derive sufficient conditions of new results for Picone identities for a certain class of conformable half-linear anisotropic biharmonic equations. We derive a Strumiancomparison theorem and oscillation results. Furthermore, the oscillation results are different from the most known ones in the sense that they are based on ...
