Adaptive inter-piconet scheduling in small scatternets [PDF]

open access: yesACM SIGMOBILE Mobile Computing and Communications Review, 2003
Inter-piconet scheduling in a Bluetooth scatternet may be performed in an adaptive manner, so as to minimize end-to-end packet delays. Using the theory of queues with vacations, we analyze the impact of different values of scatternet parameters on end-to-end delays, and then investigate the possibility of minimization of the aforementioned delays.

Adaptive Packet-Level Interleaved FEC for Wireless Priority-Encoded Video Streaming

open access: yesAdvances in Multimedia, 2009
Packet-level Forward Error Control (FEC) for video streaming over a wireless network has received comparatively limited investigation, because of the delay introduced by the need to assemble a group of packets.

L‐RUBI: An efficient load‐based resource utilization algorithm for bi‐partite scatternet in wireless personal area networks

open access: yesInternational Journal of Communication Systems, Volume 36, Issue 6, April 2023., 2023
This paper proposes a resource allocation method based on a load of the network. The network's resources are divided into small blocks. Then pass‐key is generated to authorize the user to use it. With this, existing user resources can be used. When excess resources are required, resources are scheduled and transmitted to the user through request. Thus,
