Optimal Communication in Bluetooth Piconets
Bluetooth is a low-power, low-cost, short-range wireless communication system operating in the 2.4-GHz industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band. Bluetooth links use frequency hopping whereby each packet is sent on a single frequency while different packets are sent on different frequencies. Further, there are a limited number of packet sizes.

Resource Allocation in Millimeter‐Wave Device‐to‐Device Networks
Recently, the mobile wireless communication has seen explosive growth in data traffic which might not be supported by the current Fourth Generation (4G) networks. The Fifth Generation (5G) networks will overcome this challenge by exploiting a higher spectrum available in millimeter‐wave (mmwave) band to improve network throughput.

Embedded Parallelism Enabling Ultralow‐Power Zigbee Voice Communications
Short‐range wireless technologies are known to transmit voice, audio, image, and video messages in real time. Energy consumption and transmission reach are critical in such networks, especially for portable and power autonomous devices. The purpose of the Voice over Zigbee technology is to provide a competitive offering that excels in these performance

A new insight into Bluetooth piconets coexistence
AbstractThis paper discusses Bluetooth piconets coexistence. We use an approach which is totally different from those used traditionally with Bluetooth (probabilistic collision models). We show how it is possible to obtain an interference‐free Bluetooth environment in some conditions, for certain kinds of Bluetooth devices, using the properties of the ...
