BlueMIC: Coordination for Mitigating Inter-Piconet Interference in BLE5 Networks [PDF]

open access: yesAUT Journal of Modeling and Simulation
The proliferation of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) in diverse applications has led to a dense clustering of piconets in confined spaces. BLE operates within the congested 2.4GHz ISM band, shared by numerous short-range wireless protocols.

Adaptive inter-piconet scheduling in small scatternets [PDF]

open access: yesACM SIGMOBILE Mobile Computing and Communications Review, 2003
Inter-piconet scheduling in a Bluetooth scatternet may be performed in an adaptive manner, so as to minimize end-to-end packet delays. Using the theory of queues with vacations, we analyze the impact of different values of scatternet parameters on end-to-end delays, and then investigate the possibility of minimization of the aforementioned delays.

The Active Frequency Control Strategy of the Wind Power Based on Model Predictive Control

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this paper, an active frequency control strategy of wind turbines based on model predictive control is proposed by using the power margin of wind turbines operating in load shedding mode. The frequency response model of the microgrid system with the load shedding of the wind turbines is used to predict the output power and system frequency deviation

Intra-piconet scheduling in Bluetooth. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The trend of dynamically interconnecting the personal devices that people carry with them has led to the introduction of personal area networks (PANs) and personal networks (PNs). The Bluetooth® wireless access technology is believed to be a potential enabler of PANs and PNs.
