Conjugation‐Length Dependent Interplay Between Charge Transfer and Locally Excited States in Sequence‐Defined Donor–Acceptor Substituted Oligo(Phenylene Ethynylene)s

Iterative synthesis gives access to sequence‐defined oligo(para‐phenylene ethynylene)s, bridging donor and acceptor units through stepwise extension of the conjugated backbone. Accurate length control enables systematic structure‐property relationship investigations across absorption, emission, and excited‐state dynamics.
