Stair‐Climbing Wheelchairs for Enhanced Mobility: A Comprehensive Review of Fundamental Mechanisms, Design Concepts, and Performance Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT People with physical disabilities face significant mobility challenges while climbing uneven surfaces and staircases. In these circumstances, traditional wheelchairs do not provide stable, safely controlled mobility, underscoring the importance of building superior stair‐climbing wheelchairs for both medical and infrastructure purposes.

Social Sustainability in Circular Bioeconomy Business Models: Insights From Argentina

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Research on circular bioeconomy business models (CBEBM) has largely prioritised environmental and economic aspects, leaving out the social pillar. To address this gap, this paper analyses to what extent and in what ways social sustainability is integrated into CBEBM, based on 12 cases from northern Argentina, a region with high potential for ...

National Policy Coherence Counts for Reducing Inequality in Global Climate and Development Agendas

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT International institutions promote policy coherence as crucial to the effective and fair implementation of global sustainability agendas, though the evidence for its benefits is slim. We present here the first systematic cross‐country dataset on the consequences of national government efforts to promote policy coherence for vulnerable groups ...

Solar‐Powered Water Depollution Through a Bioinspired Device Based on ZIF‐8 Loaded Macroporous Hydrogels Prepared via Ice‐Templating

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Water pollution poses a constant threat to the environment and is one of the central causes for global shortage of clean water. Metal–Organic Frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as highly efficient adsorbents; however, their application is limited by their common production as fine powders, which hinders recovery and reuse.
