Adaptive PID Regulators. Ambitions and Limitations
This paper deals with adaptive control of 'easy' processes, such as the familiar SISO, aperiodic systems. For such processes, the simple P.I.D. regulators perform quite well, provided that the main characteristics of the open-loop response are sufficiently well known.

A Tuning of PID Regulators via LQR Approach
This paper proposes a PID controller design method for the second order systems to satisfy the design specifications in time domain via an LQR design technique. The optimal tuning method of the PID controller is developed by establishing relationships between the exploited design parameters and the weighting factors Q and p.

A lightweight, modular soft robotic arm employs SMA actuation and a multi‐Hall‐magnet sensing system to achieve accurate omnidirectional shape proprioception. Each 35 g segment enables scalable assembly, while robust proprioception supports versatile navigation and manipulation in complex, unstructured environments.
