Stability analysis of a mathematical model in a microcosm with piecewise constant arguments
Mathematical Biosciences, 2012In this paper, we have modeled a population density of a bacteria species in a microcosm by using a differential equation, [Formula in text] where t ≥ 0, the parameters r, α, β(0) and β(1) denote positive numbers ann [t] denotes the integer part of [Formula in text].

Pseudo almost periodic solutions of differential equations with piecewise constant arguments
Applicable Analysis, 1999The authors consider linear and nonlinear differential equations with piecewise constant argument \[ \dot x(t)=ax(t)+bx([t])+f(t),\qquad \dot x(t)=ax(t)+bx([t])+F(t,x), \quad t\in \mathbb{R}. \] On the base of introducing a new concept of pseudo almost-periodic sequence the authors discuss the existence of a pseudo almost-periodic solution to these ...

The Reduction Principle for Systems with Piecewise Constant Argument
2011The theory of integral manifolds founded by H. Poincare and A. M. Lyapunov [215, 267] became a very powerful instrument for investigating problems of the qualitative theory of differential equations. Over the past several decades, many researchers have been studying the methods of reducing high dimensional problems to low dimensional ones.

Global stability in a differential equation with piecewisely constant arguments
2001The author considers a differential equation with piecewise constant arguments of the form \[ N'(t) = r(t)(-\mu N(t) + \sum_{i=0}^{m} P_i\exp{-r_i N([t-i])}), t\geq 0. \] Asymptotic properties of the coefficient \(r(t)\) are used to define sufficient conditions for the global stability of a positive equilibrium.
