On Quasi-Periodic Solutions of Differential Equations with Piecewise Constant Argument

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2002
It is shown that \[ x'(t)= ax(t)+ \sum^N_{j=-N} a_j x([t+ j])+ f(t)\tag{\(*\)} \] has a unique quasiperiodic (qp) solution \(x\in QP(\omega_1,\dots, \omega_r)\) whenever \(f\in QP(\omega_1,\dots, \omega_r):= \{g:\mathbb{R}\to \mathbb{R}: g\) qp with (rationally independent) frequencies \(\omega_1,\dots, \omega_r\) and absolutely convergent Fourier ...

Unlocking Low‐Melting‐Point and High‐Conductivity Molten Salts via High‐Entropy Strategy with Demonstration in Thermal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐entropy strategy is developed to break the trade‐off between low melting point and high ionic conductivity in molten salt electrolytes. By incorporating CsBr and LiF into the LiCl‐LiBr‐KBr system, the quinary LiF‐LiCl‐LiBr‐KBr‐CsBr electrolyte achieves a record‐low melting point of 229.5°C while maintaining a high conductivity of 1.19 S cm−1 at ...

On chaotic synchronization via impulsive control and piecewise constant arguments

open access: yes, 2015
This paper is concerned with a system of differential equations with continuous and piecewise constants arguments of a delay type. An application to chaotic systems is presented and the synchronization problem is established, where the output of the ...

Oscillation and Periodicity of a Second Order Impulsive Delay Differential Equation with a Piecewise Constant Argument [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
This paper concerns with the existence of the solutions of a second order impulsive delay differential equation with a piecewise constant argument. Moreover, oscillation, nonoscillation and periodicity of the solutions are investigated.

CoSP: Reconfigurable Metamaterial Inverse Design via Contrastive Pretrained Large Language Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, CoSP (contrastive multi‐state pretrain), an intelligent inverse design method for reconfigurable metamaterials based on a contrastive pretrained large language model, is proposed. Numerical experiments demonstrate that CoSP can design reconfigurable metamaterial structures for multi‐state, multi‐band optical responses, showing great ...

New contractivity condition in a population model with piecewise constant arguments [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In this paper, we improve contractivity conditions of solutions for the positive equilibrium N∗=1a+∑i=0mbi of the following differential equation with piecewise constant arguments:{dN(t)dt=N(t)r(t){1−aN(t)−∑i=0mbiN(n−i)},n⩽t0andN(−j)=N−j⩾0,j=1,2,…,m ...

Robust Stitching Interface and Deep Learning Empowered Hydrogel Human‐Machine Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A molecular design strategy is presented that exploits synergistic carboxylate anion–quaternary ammonium interactions to simultaneously strengthen the hydrogel–PET interface and the bulk hydrogel network. Integrated with deep learning signal processing, the stable hydrogel–PET interface enables consistent signal acquisition and reliable human‐machine ...

Neuromorphic Optical Tracking and Imaging of Randomly Moving Targets Through Dynamic Dense Scattering Media

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Vision begins not with images but with change: the retina fires only when something moves, handing the brain a stream of spikes. A neuromorphic imaging system adopts the same strategy—an event sensor that sees like the retina, a spiking network that thinks like the brain—to track and reconstruct fully randomly moving targets through tissue (phantom ...

Inverse Design of Pre‐Strain via a Predictive Electromechanical Model for Enhanced Strain Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An analytical electromechanical model rooted in microcrack evolution mechanics is globally calibrated from only eight pre‐strain datasets, enabling prediction of the complete sensing response at untested pre‐strain values within the calibrated design space (R2 > 0.99).
