Innovative methodology for flexible monitoring of various bioprocesses by using pre‐existing Raman data coupled with automated transfer learning technique

The application of the transfer learning algorithm successfully allowed the use of a model built on process A for real‐time monitoring of process B. This study shows the improvement obtained with this methodology compared to the direct application of the model.

Metal Nanoparticles on Halloysite Applied in Stereoselective Hydrogenation of Tetrasubstituted Alkenes

Composite materials based on metal nanoparticles supported on a naturally occurring nanotubular clay, halloysite (HAL), led to the diastereoselective hydrogenation of tetra‐substituted alkenes under relatively smooth conditions, mainly oxazolidinone‐based heterocycles.

Catalyst‐Free Cyanation of Arenes by Acetonitrile in a Plasma–Liquid Microreactor

An original approach of arylnitrile synthesis was developed by generating an argon plasma in contact with solutions of arene in acetonitrile within a gas‐liquid microreactor. Plasma activation of acetonitrile generated cyano radicals, enabling a catalyst‐free C‐H cyanation of arenes.
